Custom Axle Help

I am in need of custom axles for my car. The axles I want are from the performance version of my car, but I can not use them due to the transmission input of the shafts. Is there any way about changing out just the transmission side of CV shafts to have them work on different transmissions? If its not just as easy as a rebuild, can anyone recommend a shop where I can get custom ones made up?
