Whats your guy's opinions on compression fittings as compared to push-to-connect fittings?

ive only used compression in the past, but really like the idea of the PTC's and would like to use them with my air manifold.

PTC are light years ahead of compression fittings. I used to run compression fittings, but found they still leaked, and you had to replace farrels everytime. PTC's are much easier to work with, cleaner installation, and swivels work great in hard to reach places.

PTC > Compression, compression fittings gave me so much shit. Only leaks Ive ever had with PTC fittings is when the line wasnt cut straight enough.

I have used both with mixed results. If you go PTC you absolutely have to use good quality brass ones, or stainless ones. ANything plastic will cause problems down the road, also I only use PTC with nylon brake line. As for compressions only the good quality DOT ones are worth using, and I typically only use them with copper hardline, they work better than a PTC in that application.

my first kit came solely with ptc's and i will give the convenience factor to them but after about 7 months they all were replaced. one by one they just couldnt pass the "bubble test" and were trash canned. compression is all i will use forever more
