02 chrysler 300m brake lights stay on

the car in general has electrical issues but the main issue is the brake lights stay on and kills the battery when it sits. anyone ever run into this problem? the problem is intermitent doesnt happen all the time and doesnt change when you hit the brakes they still stay on. bad brake light switch possibl?
