setting up a 4 link and putting 2 straight bars on top instead of the banana bar and getting rid of the panhard the drive shaft is straight and upper bars are paralel but the rear end is shifted to the pass. side is that normal

Well yes and no, I know for a fact we used 2 banana bars on my fathers 63ss and when the rear suspension hung it shifted towards the passenger side. so we remade the panhard to correct it under load.  I dont know if this helps you or not.

we manufacture a bolt in wishbone for this reason, utilizies the mount on rear end, the mount on frame and another bracket that we supply to bolt in and get rid of panhard bar, if your suspension is set up right your rear end shouldnt shift at all.
