Im about to step up from my 22s to 24s on my dually and I want to find a different way to balance the new wheels.  Ive been using centramatic balancers for a while now but I wanted to know if anything else works better.

if you take your truck to an alignment shop that also aligns big rigs. they should be able to balance your rims the old skool way using the spinner. It works great if they know what there doing.

I was told that the balance bags and powders do not work well on lo-pros.   Not sure if thats true.  As far as weights go, I dont really wan to see them especially on the rear wheels, which are all lip.

You mean take the tire off and put them inside the tire?  Never seen it done like that...

i belive he means on the inside of the rim where it cant been seen. i know wheels are done like that all the time. havent ever heard of them being on the inside of the tire. i could see that damaging them tires big time if they ever came off.

I transport vehicles for a living and have a Chevy C5500 series rollback .  The big truck shop near my house takes my rims off (they're 19.5's), puts them on a balancer, then sticks weights on the backside, inside lip, of my rim.  I am working on a Dually right now, and asked him about balacning those since they are 22's, and he said he could do it the same way, with no problems....hope this helps.
