what does everyone use for a leadhose on engine drivens? can I use hydralic hose, or should I spend the extra cash for steel braided?
they put out alot of heat. Braided hose would work the best, but I have seen people use high temp hydraulic hose.
i just used a 8' piece of ac hose before adapting to my airline it seems to take the heat just fine
I've got a bigrig airbrake hose on mine...its heavy duty.
Hydraulic hose is more than fine, no need to go to stainless if you dont care about the look.
ok, I have another question, should I mount the check valve right at the compressor, or will that be to hot for the plastic inside the check valve?
I just bought a viair leader hose, it came complete with a check valve, and its stainless braided, and for under $20 it was worth it.
