I hope I have this figured out right, this is going to take me a minute. 1991 GMC Jimmy. 4 door, 4.3, 5 speed, 2wd.  Bought it at a police auction, it was special order by a local police department and used by them for 15 years, then stolen from them and recovered in Chicago. They did not want to pay to have it fixed (pealed column, broken window) so they sold it to me. The day I brought her home.

Bought a new daily so I could pull the Jimmy into the garage and build it the way I want without having to drive it daily.   The plan:   RE8's up front on tubular arms   4 link out back, bag on bar, 2500# stones   Bodydropped on 255/35-ZR20's   EDC, DC7000, 1/2" manifold valves, a single 10 gallon tank for air management   As of right now all of this is done, so let me catch the pics up....

I ordered what I need to do the engine up a little and I already received it all, but today I just pulled it out of the garage for a bath and some pics. Tomorrow I will start on wiring up the engine wiring harness the way I want it, nice and clean.

did you really get an RE-8 in the front spring pocket? and 2500 firestones out back?

Yup, RE8's up front. My upper cups are .75 tall, I had to trim down the little spikes at the top of the inside of the pockets to set them in there. When I was only bagged in the front I ran RE7's but in order to get the spring rate I needed to work right with the 2500's out back I needed the larger bag up front. It took a lot to get them in there but they clear better now than my RE7's did before. To reach my 3 inch ride height I am at 30psi front and rear. The rear maxes out at 90 psi, front at 110psi. To get to this point it took me 6 months of one or two days a week of working on it. The plan is to have it reliable for Camp and Drag, and I should have no problem making it.
