Are you guys going to make a lock/jam nut instead of using thread lock?

Tried - but it's such a wacky size/thread count that I'd have to get something custom made which isn't really cost effective.

How are threading the sleeves? Could you have some machined and then tap the threads yourself? Or slice some sleeves up to get the threads and weld a collar around it.

so thats the out side of the cylinder that is threaded..so you dont have to make something for them to fit in...??

The outside of the cylinder is threaded. We sell threaded collars for them. They can be used several different ways. You can weld tabs to them for a MacPherson strut, like this car. You can use them by themselves to hold up a car like a Honda that has an upper and lower control arm and just needs a spacer. You can also weld a bushing to it like I did on my Mazda. A jamb nut would be nice and I have mentioned it several times. I don't think it is a huge deal strength wise because of the amount of threads being utilized. We are talking about 4" of threads. As far as the cylinder turning or spinning loose... that's why I use the thread lock. I did have one spin loose on the Charger I did. I threw some thread lock on it and it has been fine since. The altima should be finished up for tomorrow. Then a Mercedes will be here on Saturday for a 1 pump 5 dump setup.
