Help making a switchbox

I want to make my own switchbox. For those of you that have made your own, did you just buy a switchbox and put the wires and switches into what you are going to make your switchbox out of? Im going to use my Dia-cast model van. Any helpful information will be great guys.


 


 

swapping guts would be the easiest but if you can wire up the switches correctly yourself it would prob save some cash to just buy switches,switch wire and run them yourself.

yup i just bought some switches and wired it up myself.

you can gut a box but then you have to deal with lots of extrra wires normally.
