i got my 14" rigid at lowes and ithas 2 placements for your work and it seems to be a great saw so far havent had any problems with it so far

I have the Dewalt with the handle that's perpendicular to the blade. Its much nicer than the other cheaper model Dewalt sells with the handle that's parallel to the blade. I've had it for around 8 years know with no problems. As far as the vice on it goes, it seems to work fine for me as long as you clamp the piece and tighten the screws.

i got a craftsmen with a laser guide on it and it works and performs awesome
