That should polish out okay.I love the back up safety latch only 4 screws to hold it on.The paint on it is so deep it looks like you can reach right through the door skin.

I was given a prelude with shaved handles years ago,i went and looked at it before i took it,needless to say the door handles were ductaped and had filler spread over the top of it.I didnt take it home.
