well jus figured id show what ive been messing around with lately. nothin fancy but i always liked em. its a 55 chevy first series. basically a leftover 54. still got the id plate to prove it. was built in good ole atlanta. will be put together to make a fun show trip cruiser. ugly but funtional and drive everywhere.

what it looked like when i drug it home

getting started. stole the motor and tranny out of my pup. poor pup.

it has a camaro front clip. i cut down the factory column and remounted it. then had to put all new shaft and joints to the box. if you look close i used a heim when i shortened the column ha

this galaxie gave its life and 9" rear for my truck lol a torch and dry weather dont mix well

but the ford 9" now sports sum nifty rear disc brakesthe front noe has s-10 drop spindles and brembo cross drilled and slotted rotors and all new everthing. also shortened the lower arms an inchas it sets now. 3" blocks in rear with the axle flipped. 2 inch spindles in front and cut coils for 1 1/2 drop also. my pup also gave up its wheels for now. 20x8.5 and 20x10 kmc novas.trying to get it all mocked up.as it sets now. rci fuel cell is not mounted btw. has 4 wheels power disk brakes. stole a booster and master off of a c-10 and mounted it on the firewall. willwood risidual valves and proportioning valve. lokar nostalgia shifter on the turbo 350 tranny. serpintine belt setup. buncho misc stuff.

Don't tear me a new one on this, but the standard cab s10 chassis' fit perfectly under those like it was made for it. then you have limitless options for wheels, brakes, suspension, and even motor mounts if you want to beef it up with a V8.

But either way man i love those body style trucks, always wanted a 49' custom built to ex cab and bodied. Lookin good so far.

lol nah its cool man. i actually put an s-10 rear end under it first and it wouldnt work in the rear. was too narrow and the tires were hitting the bedsides. weird but did. so i had to yank it out and put the nine inch in it. i hear the s-10 front clips work great though

I just bought a 54. Yours looks to be in much better shape than mine. It's a reg. cab long bed S10 that fits beneath these. There's a 1" difference in wheel base but it's in favor of the Ad3100. The S10 interchange rear end needs to be from a 4wd. 5" wider than a 2wd...anyway, cool truck. I'm kinda jealous!

truck looks good but the wheels dont fit the look of it. its like when i put 20s on my 78 yota. for like 5 minutes. rest looks good though. i know which pup you have too by the scoop. haha.
