metal suppliers

Where are you guys getting your bulk metal? Tubing, plate, etc. Are you guys getting it locally where ever you live? Or are some of you ordering them online?

I get all mine locally. Less than half the price that it is online.

I'm getting it locally too. Takes a bit to find a good supplier but its worth it when you do. The yard I use has lots of shorts and off cuts on their rack that they sell cheap, works good if you don't need a whole pile of something.

like maz duh said if you don't want a sh!t load of stuff I normally give it to people. But See if you can find a Ryerson or O'neal Steel.

Hell I just called in a favor to my supplier and got my buddy some billet bars, to make some billet arm rest for his 03 sonoma.

here its really expensive to buy locally for some reason. everywhere else i lived steel was cheap. If i need 24 feet its cheap to buy local, but if i need a 4 foot section its cheaper to buy online.
