here is what it ended up lookin like. i will need to cut out and raise the strut tower. and i think i will still z the 2 linkto get the back lower. sould end up about an inch and a half off the ground front and back.
if the welds look sh!tty talk to minitrucker04
oops that pics doesnt have the front down all the way. the tire is even with the fender
ah man, why u got to call me out on the welds! lol
looks good, but how does it sit all the way down...
I'm looking to get either the easy street bags or a custom kit if it will atleast let me tuck some tire, if all else fails I'll do hydros like all the AON guys suggest. Just following your build to see what I should do
progress looks great & I tool like that kit! who made it??
the kit was from aim. it was about 650. i was just gonna buy the bags and use the stock struts. they ended up not having some parts so i just bought the "universal" kit made just for the hhr. i should be able to get the front about an inch off the ground by raising the strut towers with some 6inch pipe. there is no way in my opinion to get as low with the universal air strut bags cause they compress to about 4in. the bags i got compress to 2 and 3/4 inch. the bag mounts are about 1/2 inch from the tire and the bottom of the strut almost hits the dust boot on the driveshaft. the only place to gain anything is in the strut tower
looks cool man,,yea juice is deff the way to go its so much less hassle,,you wouldnt have to mess with the tower or anythin like that

Those welds are fine. They look like anything that would roll off the assembly line at chevy. Looks good guys.
