Max,I am lookin at having an underslung frame built and doing a sfbd on my 74 LUVI want to do a 18/20 combo and use a cantilever rear setup the work will be performed by BBT FabMy question to you is what issues should i address in designing this new frame and in your opinion what would be the best way to overcome these challenges?

It is a little hard for me to tell you what they are going to run into. If you aren't comfortable with what they are capable of, maybe you should find a different shop to do it. I don't mean to come across so harsh, but if you came into my shop telling me what another shop thought I should do, I wouldn't be to happy about it.

Just let them do what they do.

a 20 is kinda a small rim for an underslung frame they are about 26 inches tall so divide that in half 13 then minus 3 inches for frame height then sub tract half the axle tube width which is about 1.5 inches thats only 8.5 inches of lift and at that height it will be on the frame

well u can always c-notch the frame under the axle and gain a little more ..but hell why would u need more that 8.5 inches of lift anyways...its not like most bagged trucks ride more that 3 or 4 inches off the ground in the back anyways!!
