Anyone ever done a targa top?

I have a 2000 Chevy 2 door Blazer, its been bodydroped part stockfloor and traditional. I have asked around at custom shops where i live and they all said it would cause too much body flex and i should consider another mod such as a ragtop. Minitrucker at heart, i am too stubborn to take their advise. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

done a few back in the day with kit's from radical tops.

Whats a little body flex in the name of custom? haha, I'm sure you can stabilize the body other ways...

Ask Miles, ShortRodeo. I'm pretty sure he has a targa style top on his Roadstered Rodeo now.

I have found some pics that look like they will help me in the right direction.

Flex will be the major issue with a targa. Are you planning to make it a full time thing or will the roof piece go back in to seal it up on rainy days?
