cleaning engine bay

What are you guys using to clean your engines? I've used the "engine degreaser" from autozone that is basically kerosene and other petroleum products and simple green at 1:3 ratio.

Now that I've added some more chrome/billet to my engine I was thinking about cutting back the ratio to 1:5 on simple green and using a pressure washer with all my electronics and air filter covered up.

Any suggestions?

I like to use scrubbing bubbles and a hand spray bottle. It works great. I didn't belive it until I tried it. I use it all of the time on my stock vehicles. I don't know about chrome, but it doesn't hurt the shower fixtures

WD-40, but chrome just use microfiber rags and glass cleaner and foam cleaner for me.

im using some kinda of industral stuff like simple green unno the ratio but i spray it first the wash it off and then go after it with wd40
