The canon EF-S 10-22mm will probably be the best investment for you if you want to go to a super wide angle lens. you will definitely get some fish eye distortion but it'll really open up what types of photos you can take
A lot of reviews have the Sigma verson of that lense as better. Thats why we went with Sigma on our wide angle.

I've heard that too, but the Canon is the only one I've used.
I have a friend who uses a Sigma 6mm (I think it was) prime that he does 360 virtual tours. He takes 4 pictures, one from each axis and then his software puts them together to create a virtual image...he's doing pretty well with it too

He's asking about a wide angle. The Sigma has better reviews vs Canons wide angle. Canons not bad though.

what do you mean by "fish eye lens", like a screw on wide angle adapter or a lens with a lot of wide angle distortion?
