Alright, I know this belongs in a Martha Stewart forum but there isnt one....anyway, I am getting married in Oct and for the grooms cake my fiancee and I thought it would be cool to have a truck as the grooms cake. She is having a hard time finding pans or some shit to make the cake out of in the shape of a truck. I want it 3-D and just cant seem to find anything that will work. I have seen a ton of these done so I need some help on this.....anyone?
just use square pans stack them a few high and then carve out the shape of a truck and then ice it.
yep you will have to have 2 or 3 cakes to make it. your not going to find anything premade pan types.
Seth could fab you a truck cake pan.

I was suppose to have a Chevy Bowtie cake at our wedding but the lady who did the cakes did a great job on the big wedding cake and made the grooms cake look like poo. It was way too long and not tall enough. It was hard to even tell what it was. I like the idea of a truck cake. the one picturered just needs to tuck the rims more. lol
I had a 50 merc for my grooms cake and the caterer made it all by hand it was Bad Ass! he had no molds to go by....
just hit up ur local bakery and see what they say. we had a "old as shit" cake made for my dad'd 50th bday. if theyll make a cake that looks like a steamy pile of shit with flys and toilet paper theyll make u a minitruck cake.
