I'm almost done with my Supercrew. It's been sitting for 6 months since I last started it. I finally got the battery relocated and tried to start it today. It turns over and sort of cranks, but sputters like it's struggling to run and then turns off. Giving it gas doesn't help either. Anyone have any ideas? After all the work I've put into this truck, it not starting was the last thing I expected. HELP! lol

try the inertia switch behind the passenger kick panel. they get tripped easy while working on fords. its a black box with a red button on top of it. just push it down.

I will have to try the inertia switch. I did have to rework some stuff around that area. I don't think the theft light is flashing. I will have to look again. I'll let you guys know what happens.

after i bodydropped mine i forgot to clip a few of the intake electronics connectors on the intake tube and it prevented it from starting, think it was the MAF that got me, i was so pissed. if you can bum a good obd2 scanner from someone it can let you know if your connectors arent connected also. The inertia switch got me on my ranger, i always shake it really hard before i work on it to pop it - then push it down when im done. Maybe im retarded??? =)

after i stock floored mine it wouldent start cause the fuel pump was gummed up. took me 9 or 10 months to body drop and bag it. only working on the weekends. just sat so long it gummed up.

Put it on a lift,
Raise it up
Remove the gas cap
Drive a dodge under it
Replace gas cap

The ford will keep the rain off the dodge.

I've tripped my inertia switch a few times you wont get anything at all so thats not it my truck seemed to be doing the same thing for awhile but actually started and would die after like 10 seconds it was a bad fuel pump.

^^^I agree with the bad fuel pump. Had the same shit happen to mine after sitting for a year.
