Methanol injection is completely different from water fuel injection.

Water fuel injection turns the water into a combutable vapor that ignites cleaner and stronger than normal fuel. It also leaves behind zero emmisions and once ther exhaust gases are reheated, it converts back to pure h20. Of course, this also keeps the inside of you cylinders in mutch better shape, no carbon deposits and build up mean a longer lester, better running engine. Chances of it ever becoming big, not much, considerig they can't tax water.
