I'm trying to figure out where to mount the solenoid in my Civic to where it won't block my window track but I can't figure it out. Any pictures would greatly help. I'm stuck using my backup entry method, and it's quite inconvenirnt not to mention, everywhere I go, people can see where I have it routed.

I'm not 100% as I got the kit third hand. But it has the same style solenoisds as the autoloc, all know is they've got a 40 lb. pull.

I've seen the link you gave me, but unfortunately you'll notice the solenoid is on the oustide of the door. They're supposed to be mounted inside the door. The door panel would not go back on if you did it that way. I will eventually be doing remote door panels but they're not going to stick out off the door.

can't give you pictures but mount the solenoid vertical by the door latch, then attach the cable to the latch, if there are any other questions email me

On the civic the latches need to move horizontaly. Doesn't that mean I couldn't mount it vertically under the latch? Maybe I'm missing something. I'll send you an email shortly.

Mounted mine between the door panel and door just fine but I used a rod instead of a cable.

Your inside door handle pulls horizontally, but the outside handle pushes down on the latch. Mount the solonoid at the very bottom of the door, under the latch. Use the cable to pull down on the latch.
