i am getting ready to buy my 4 link. i am on a very limited budget. i see most everyone running bushing ends. is there anything wrong with hyme joint end kits?
Hey man, I just PM'ed ya..
thanks by the time i pay shipping im close enough to thornbeck to drive and not pay shipping. may get ahold of you on some other stuff though.
there is nothing wrong with heim joints, back in the ole school days near bout all 4 link kits had em, but they can get squeky over time but so can uvertightened bushings.
not advisable for a street driven truck, they get dirty and get loose, not to mention squeaky from the metal to metal contact. they are also very harsh with no 'give' like a bushing joint has. just pick up the Universal Tri 4link kit from SD, not too expensive, all 4 bars are adjustable, and can be shortened easily to fit anything.
