Put a cam in it, a header, oversized valves and a Weber carb.

Side drafts will help with hood clearance. I got some, they are awsome.

good exhaust/muffler, high performance clutch, royal purple synthetic fluids-(yes they do help) & upgraded ignition-distributor, coil, plugs & wires!

i may go that route.....but im planing on runnin a 7 or 8 gallon tank and dont want to end up with a gas hog...w\ a small tank...............then again i want to spice it up so i can play too!(it wont be a daily persay maybe a weekly at the most.

Used 7 gals. /223 miles @ 65mpg = 31mpg,this is with a LC Pro Street EFI, 260 + HP.I don't usually hold to one speed,cruise mostly @ 75 to 80 & get around 26 mpg.
