I've seen glue systems where the glue was actually pressurized in a tank much like a propane tank. This allowed for portability and easy use. But I never figured out what the hell it was...
We use this where I work, we have a few different types. One even has to be wheeled around on a dolly.
It is just a propane tank that a hose and hand sprayer attaches to. Works alright. Gun can get messy if you don't close the tank and empty the hose each time you are done.
I have heard good things about the DAP Weldwood. You can even resole shoes with it

Contact cement has worked better for me than any spray adhesive.

Bringing this one back.....been researching adhesives to use. I'm using vinyl to cover my dash and a few door panel pieces, can the DAP adhesive be brushed on or has to be sprayed??

You should spray it through a bottom feed gun at around 90psi to get an even (not too thick) layer. You wont need to thin it. Get the gun from Harbor Frieght. Around $10-$15.
