steering column problem opn my b/d k5

i am having a problem with the steering column hitting the a arm when it is aired all the way down. what is the best fix for this? The truck is a 79 k5 blazer b/d on 22/'s

well i am not even trying to use the factory steering components,i'm gonna just fab up new steering linkage and try an aftermarket column,cause i'm running hydro's and my factory column runs directy into the cylinder

My column was hittin the upper control arm on my luv, I went to flamingriver.com bought 2 universal u joints, bought round bar the same diameter as my column and made new linkage. Now it works perfect
