okay I just bought all new brake line... the only stuff that they had that was long enough was a roll... how in the f#ck do I get this crap strait?? there has to be a tool out there

No tool or any amount of patience will get it straight I know I have tried. If it a small enough vehicle the bends might hide some of the uneveness, if not maybe look at the 4 foot sticks and some unions to have a straight run. Good luck and hope you can get it figured out.

P.S. I need a good flaring tool, any ideas?

Master Cool makes (for me) the best flaring kit out there. Hydraulic flaring. GM push to connect, and double 45 flare for brakes, Snap on sells it.Eastwood sell it.And toolwarehouse.net This is the one I have http://www.thetoolwarehouse.net/shop/MAS-71475.html

Still expensive, but Much less than snapon for the same thing.

You can straighten the line if you are carefull. All the line on my truck was bought in rolls, even the 3/8 stainless for the air system. It came our fairly straight IMO.

I held the end of the roll in one of the clamping dies (came with the flaring kit) in my bench vise. Then you can unroll the tubing pulling straight and hard.

Good luck.

Yours turned out badass, I feel like a failure now. I need to try harder I guess, great setup. Thanks for the links on flaring... at over $300 for it I only need 2 flares, will just find a place.
