Anybody running the re8 bags in the rear either over or behind the axle?
How do they ride?

I was hoping that they will ride better than a firestone 2600.

they will ride great at about whe your a 1/4 off the ground after that they get super stiff that size bag a just too big to be on a truck unless you going to tow something.
just my $.02

how would a bigger bag be stiffer?
the bigger the bag, the less pressure it should take to lift to desired height

over axle the re8 will be nice throughout a lot of its travel.. in a lever of any sort, the re8 is really too soft of a bag unless you have a really good shcok with it. it tends to ride really soft and floaty with the average shock beside it.

definitely not gonna be a leverage set-up

just thinking of using them behind the axle (something simple)

Over axle it will ride better than a smaller bag for sure. My friend swapped his RE7s for RE8s on his S10 and was impressed with the improvement.

i have them in the rear over the axle. they ride pretty good. a little stiff when aired up all the way, but i never drive aired up all the way so i like em ok.

i got em behind axle with shocks on my s10 and its not too bad on the rough roads around here, i can ride tuckin and itll be real smoothe, then i ride close to layin and it can get a lil jarring over the real rough stuff but what suspension doesnt, and yeah by the time the suspension does get real stiff youre ridin pretty high
