Oh ok, I see, that make alot of sence! Thanks guys!

Wow, either way, having never done this, or watched it I got a long road ahead of me!! But it will be bad ass!

I think I'll do a 'practice' run on my old cab, that way if I fuck it up, it doesn't matter! LOL

That leads me to my next question...how do you do that? I thought you had to channel the cab doing a traditional, so is this diff?

channelling the cab is basically just as it sounds, making a groove for the frame rails to slide into....

traditional bodydrops, cut out the whole floor....not just the section around the frame rails....then you raise the whole floor.

Stock floor is just as it sounds, you cut out the portion of the frame under the cab, and use a smaller size metal, to create more clearance, then new bodymounts.

All 3 have the same effect. For a first timer, I would probably suggest either a channel, or traditional.

And start small, do a 2" or something. Dont go to big you its easy to get frustrated with re-locating everything.

Really?? Just looking at it and all I would thing stock floor would be easier, cuz its pretty much just the frame your dealing with, isn't it? And I know more about welding steel than sheet metal.

Well, it's my Husband and a couple of friends that are doing most of it, I just want to learn more about it, personally, before they do it all. Maybe then I'll be able to help more. This is kinda my homework, lol, They know more about what theyre doing that I do. You know what I mean. I have a pretty bad obsession with minitrucks, and I, personally, dont want to be one of those girls that just drive a minitruck, Im not saying thats a bad thing for those who do, I just want to know the ins and outs and how things are done. And I want to learn more so that if I'm going to a show and shit breaks, I ccan fix it with out having to call my Husband, or a tow truck. I mean, I can change a bag, fittings and airline, but if theres something else that I have the tools and knowledge to fix it right there, I want to be able to. I guess Im just kind of indepindent.

I really apprecciate your help! You guys are awesome!
