I'll agree about troubles with credits transferring. Its a better idea to transfer a degree. Most degrees will transfer as long as it's not a backyard school. For example, half of your credits from ITT may not transfer to a University, however if you get an Associates from ITT then chances are pretty high that it will transfer fine.

My opinion is just an associates isn't going to do a whole ton for you. Don't get me wrong, it does help and shows dedication and what not and theres a good chance it puts you ahead of the next guy with no schooling. But if your unsure of what you want to do, you may just want to get a general associates, then get your ba in whatever you decide, this will give you at least a year or two to figure out what you want to do without wasting your time not taking classes cause you dont know yet.

I'm a semester away from getting my general as. and then im going into computer engineering. After that its very possible that ill become a train engineer. 90k to drive a train seems pretty badass to me. Originally posted by sleepy

right on.....figured I'd get some different responses. I've looked at auto cad/drafting, Cnc/machinist, and graphic design. I've gotten some other ideas to look into now. I wish I'd done it a little earlier, but it's to late to think about it like that. I just wasn't sure how useful it was. I've been looking at Ivy tech, and according to the info I have , most everything there transfers to a 4 year school ( not getting caught like that, have a couple of friends that got caught with credits that don't transfer from ITT, Etc. and are screwed and in debt now. ) anyone else want to chime in. the sleep disorder thing is interesting, might look into that. How hard was the schooling? alot of anatomy classes and stuff? Charlie
