hardbody dash swap

What is all needed to swap an 86 dash out for the newer dash outta a 96?? Will the newer cluster plug into the old wiring and such?? Any help would be appreciated thanks!!

check on nissancustoms.com there is a full write up on ther somewhere with wiring and all.

you need the new plugs to go with the new cluster, but the wires in the harness are the same colors

ok there is a bit more than just rewiring it you also need the speed sensor form the newer tranny (94+)and the wiring need to be converted it not just match the colors I have the write up that Ronnie did on Nissan customs i used it and it worked flawless. pm me if you need help
