i have a 87 s-10 blazer .going to done a stock bd on it ,can anyone tell me how of a bd i need to do 2 1/2" or 3", also maybe some does & dont
a blazer takes a 4 3/4 inch body drop to lat rocker....to stockfloor it use 2x3 or 3x3 square tubing and u will be fine
thanks, so all i have to do is raise the floor pan up right
lot more to it than that....
Than that wouldn't be a stockfloor...
man if u have never done 1 or seen it done i would seek help...i got 9 months getting mine body dropped and painted...its not an easy task by no means..i have some build pics on my profile
SFBD 101... LOL
Get some square stock (2X3 or 3X3)
Mark your original location/hieghts of body mount
Build yourself some new frame rails
Lower your body mounts the desired hieght to achieve body drop
No overall raising of the floor required
^^except for raising the driveshaft tunnel, and being a blazer the most of the rear floor pan.
trust TN Jeff, he knows his blazers, plus he's great at wiring up hydros
jeff what off set is on your wheels
