OK so I know Its not a minitruck but Im a mintrucker at heart. How the hell do I slam the 67 bug I just bought. I dont even have it yet Im waitin on the shipper. But damn their talkin about narrowin beams and takin splines outta the ass end. Ive never really looked at the suspension on these things. Hell the only thing Ive bagged are s10s. im just not sure of this car shit. Is there a company I wanna order the beam from? Is there an easy way to explain this takin splines out. Basically I wanna know the best way to slam my bug. laterBenPS if this post dont make sense Its Sam Addams fault and I will revis it in the A.M.

Oh and throw some pics up if ya got em. I hear this 8 inch narrowed beam and 2 inch drop spindles which to me makes 10 inches. I didnt think a bug had that kind of clearance. But I dunno I havent even seen the one I bought yet

I'd narrow the front end (which doesn't lower it, just narrows it so you can tuck more. You can weld adjusters into the front beam so you can manually adjust how low you want to go in the front. Definately do dropped spindles (you'll need balljoint with a 67). In the back you can readjust the spring plates a few notches to sit lower.... or you can just bag it front and back. Hope that makes sense...VW's are an addiction!

here is my buddies 65 bug with a narrowed beam and spindles. he drags the frt bottom of it very often lol. its got a tall rat rod style flake shifter in it too. it also still rides good, and http://www.thesamba.com/vw/ has alot of stuff for VW's
