body drop-top build...

well i live in las vegas... and we get like 2 in. of rain a year if we're lucky...lol it's obviously only a good weather truck so im not too worried about rain and whatnot..

Weld the doors shut. Its not like you can lock yourself out.

got my brand spankin new driveshaft a few minutes ago.. its a different style than the factory one, and eliminate all the h-joints on the shaft... i trashed my original one in july of last year and havent driven it since, so im pretty friggin stoked to be able to go drag it around the block...

more pics to come with the driveshaft in, and of the sheet metal work on the ex-cab portion...

Looks pretty good, I like the rounded off back more than just square work finishing the rear cab wall. I wish we only had 2" of rain so something like this could happen to mine as well.

so i got some more work done to the truck yesterday... finished up most of the metal work on the ex-cab area, shaved the handles, and smoothed out some welds.. i'll be cutting out more fillers for the gas door, antenna, side mirrors, and other parts that need to be shaved.. next weekend im going to focus on the roof/windhield area and doors..

my seats were sent out for upholstery last week and should be getting them this week.. all black w/ blue inserts in suede.. should look clean..

and i also got "sponsored" on a set of wheels from MHT/DUB... my sales rep is a mini-trucker at heart, saw the truck, and had to have his wheels on it.. so i'll be getting these wheels in the next week or so.. 22x9.5 the NEW DUB INZANE's... so im pretty stoked about that too..

Where is your shop located? I've never heard of it. Truck is looking good too. Hope to see it at Havoc. Hope to see my truck at Havoc for that matter. lol
