Since you ran an aftermarket heating unit what'd you do for switches? I'm been contemplating running a Vintage air setup, but I really wanted to use the factory controls.

I have the vintage air GenIII set up then swapped for the new 4 knob panel. I used the stock comp and condenser. Just had custom compressor blocks made.  You cannot use the stock panel since it runs through the BCM and is solid state. Also on these trucks if you take the stock air handler out be careful.  The main ground for the power windows, OBD connector and interior lights runs in the same plug as the blower motor! Up to the upper left a pillar ground stud. So you have to modify the left IP fuse block and add an additional ground.  Good Luck.

thanks yea, my truck is currently stripped and complete build up, just havent had the time to post up. Could you get some pics of the knob setup if you wouldn't mind? Do they light up for night use?

i went through all 15 pages of the build so far and i've got to say great work so far. the craftsmanship in this truck is unsurpassed.
