things to know about bodydrops....

ok heres the deal, i finished my backhalf of my truck today and got the bed and shit back on, and thought....

should I do the bodydrop??

I mean if I don't slap 20s up front and sheetmetal my bed and bedline it for a clean look, but heres my question....

is there anything wrong with driving a bodydropped truck alot? cause I don't trailer mine when I go to car shows....I drive it everywhere, but its not a daily driver...

i drove my bodydropped taco almost daily for quite a while...why not do 20s,bed..and the body drop?

nothing wrong with drivin a bd'd truck....just gotta be a lil more careful where u drive....if u hit sumthin it might would hit the mody rather than the frame but its all part of the game.

I've just been thinking that it'll never drive the same for some reason....but I don't know i just have doubts like this sometimes but I think imma go ahead and do it anyway to finish the truck

i wouldn't do a drastic bodydrop,there is no way i can drive mine daily.
my next one will be stockfloored so that my head doesnt stick out of my roof!

well see im doing a traditional but im really short, so thats not a problem for me. how do I not do a "drastic" bd? you mean like door it? im just doing to the rockers. cuttin the cab floor out till the rockers are on the ground, then weld it back up

if done right then yea...but if a big drop then no a/c or heat..we all know bodydrops get hot in the cab ...

when mine is down it will be a daily...atleast while the 4x4 goes under the knife

i used to drive my dually that was body droped as my daily. i have a friend that drives his s-10 that is bodied as a daily. never an issue.
