need some electrical help.

i have my compressors set up on a relay and toggle switch. the switch is in between the ground wire to shut them off. when letting them run and fill the tanks, when i turn the switch off they keep running to where i have to pull the fuse. could this be a bad relay or what do you all think it could be??

sounds kinda like a stuck relay.

are you using a presure switch too?

thanks for the help guys. found a relay in the toolbox, changed it out and it seems to be fixed. its been in there for almost 5 yrs. i guess it finally died.
