what size of bolt will go in a s-10 spindle

yeah i need to know what size bolt that will go in a s10 spindle. its the hole where the tie rod goes into the spindle

I'm think that might be hard to do since it is a tapered bolt and you might end up with movement depending on what you are trying to do

make a custom tapered bolt or drill it out and use a large bolt. I'm using rod ends on my c10 and drilled it out for a 3/4" bolt.

well i need to order new heim joints. i had set up my steering with the heim joints i got. new i saw my steering has alot of play, and thats because the bolt that goes in the spindle is two small and it moves around in it. so i need to order a new set of heim joints that will fit better in the spindle.

Drilling it out is probably your best bet to match the heims you already have unless they are smaller than the hole will be... the thought of drilling them out never crossed my mind when i first posted
