Ok so I just had my truck shaved and painted and now my 4 year old headlights look super dingy. What is the best way to get back to a like new condition? Any help will be better than buying new ones!!
Buffer and fine compound, or they have kits at like checker or autozone.
I have sanded them with 2000 grit and then clear them, they look brand new then

I wet sand them with 600 and clear them. I do lots and lots of headlights and tail lights at work. It works really good especially if you sand off the old coating that's yellowed out or fading.

I wetsanded w/ 800, 1000, 1200, then 2000 and then buffed it all out and it made the headlights look like new.

If you sand then clear the lights you could drop a little blue toner in the clear to match your paint...
