vintage air/ hot rod air ?s

ive got some questions... ok im considering putting ac into a 73 burban & my 97 jimmy. with the hot rod air & vintage air s10 forum had a topic over it but im s10 forum illeteriate... (spelling) anyways basically wanted to double check and see if im correct here. but the vintage air/hot rod air kits are universal in most cases, mount under the dash just need a line ran into the intake manifold, & some 12v wiring done? correct me if im wrong. id really perfer not to be wrong 100% but its understandable.. so if anybody has some knowledge let me know... thanks for your help..

installin a hot rod air kit in a ranger now, wasnt too bad just had to have some ac lins made to adapt from their system to the ranger compressor but other than that it was just a matter of a few wires and vacuum lines.....
