yeah i'm thinking the plasma cam is gonna be the one for me to start with. It seems easy to use and would get me up and runnning sooner then one that uses true cad b/c i'm not that great with cad yet... lol

the price on them is 9 grand, but thats not bad it comes with software and the table you supply the plasma cutter and computer.

It really is user friendly.we had it up and going in a day the hardest part is programming it the first time. It remembers it after that.We have had ours a few months.It is not that bad considering all the time you save on building brackets.

yeah thats what i'm wanting it for to make my own stuff but yet try and get a fab shop started. I have been trying to start a custom fab shop for a while now and the job i got is really helping me get close to doing it.
