Accord convertable?

Hey, Ive been pritty bored with my car lately, and ive been thinking about ditching the top... is there many on here that have done it? what is involved? how much bracing of the unibody has to be done? Thanks guys.

anyone? Anyone have any input on convertable unibodies?

A few years ago a buddy of mine cut the top off his 4-door Accord & welded the back doors up. He had to brace the hell out of the
rear truck area & the inside of the 2 rear doors so the car wouldnt flex so bad. He had juice on his & I want to say he also re-inforced the under carriage of the car as well. His was a full time roadster so he also
welded a plate across the area where the rear
speakers sit..you know the spot behind the back seat. Its was a bitch, but looked bad ass hell!!

Guy I know did it to a 4 door Accord. Its sweet. Its got 2x2 all over and its a rolling tetanus machine.

thanks man... thats pritty much what i was thinking, brace the shiat out of it. I hardly even drive the car now, so i probably would leave it as a roadster too.. but thanks for the info and the link man.
