Civic idle problem ????

1.5 d15 sohc if it makes a difference with the larger throttle body.

Problem: It doesnt idle properly/steadily....it surges. I havent found any kinked/pinched vacuum hoses. Also i can put my hand over the intake tube and it will idle fine, like its getting to much air. Any thoughts???????? What could cause this?

intake gasket leak, bad iac valve sounds like it is deff getting to much air from somewhere. easiest thing to do is spray brake clean or throttle body cleaner around everywhere on the intake and see if the idle changes if so then u found your leak

IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE, AND THAT WOULD BE MY FIRST GUESS ALSO.
