Compressor rebuilding help

The amber colored hard goo theat is in the allen screws that holds these things together, its dried and hard as a rock, is there anything that will soften or disolve this junk, Viair comps by the way

I scraped it out with a knife once.. took a while lol, heating it would probably be a lot faster.

the heating works if you like burning your fingers with lighters, id tried the scraping also, I just don't have the patience

Try using a dremel tool with an engraving bit. It worked when I had to rebuild mine.
