4.2 to 4.6 or 5.4 swap

I just bought a 97 F-150 extended cab with a 4.2 V6. I was wondering if anyone knew what all is involved in swapping in a SOHC or DOHC 4.6 or 5.4 as far as wiring and all?

u need a complete donor truck for wirnig and everything.

A donor truck will supply you with all you need and then some. I am a strong believer in going this route.
The nice thing is when all is said and done you can and should part the donor out for every conceivable part she has. You will make your money back and some extra to get your friends some beer and food for helping you do the strip down. I you want to go the 5.4 S?C route let me know and I can hook you up with the proper folk's if you don't want to have a shell in your yard or shop for a month. The donor is truly the way to go....
