Friend got pissed!

When i told him i wanted to do my maz in white primer......cause his is in white primer....i mean....im not trying to copy him or anything geez....i was gonna do it waaay before i ever even met him.....so.....what do i do? roll with another color? I was thinking about tinting it. Crap! decisions decisions!
