what is the best way to cut off your rockers and keep the strength needed to keep the doors from sagging?

I'd say cut it off and then plate it or cut it off and then put a piece of 1x1 in there to keep the support

where would you start cutting and what about bracing the cab?

Doored can look great but you are correct in making sure the proper bracing is in place. In my profile I have a 1997 Ranger that is doored. If you need some pics let me know. Good luck.

yea let me see those pics if u dont mind! and what size or gauge of metal should i put back in?

went i did mine i used 1/8" plate and just welded it up

same here i used 1/8 specaily since im gonna drag that bitch so 1/4 would work too
