life sucks when welds break

so sunday morning im leaving the girls place and aparently wasnt aired up enough in the rear as i went down her steep driveway entrance and the brackets to my lower 2 link bars hit the cement and all he welds snap and ... yea STUCK on the side of the road wiith 2 link bars and bags scrapin the ground!. so we tried securing the bars to the frame with tow straps and that wored for about 20 feet. and i finally got a flat bed from a city 40 miles away to haul my truck cuz no towing serivice in my city would touch the truck. but everything is all fixed now! heres some pics of the bad luck i had that day.

turn the welder up hotter next time but that does suck.

oh yea, the new welds are definately beefy, had my buddy mike(marshkid on ssm) reweld everything for me. thanks mike!

yah didnt look like it didnt penetrate very good! Also alot of stress on the mounting points from the bags bein so close to the mounting point so it was a combination of both! But gussets also never hurt!!! Never see trucks on the side of the road from being over built...
