just wonderin if anyone has used their superduty heim joint links with runnin the bags on the bars. i got a mazda on 1/2" valves and didnt want to have problems with them possibly bending or having other issues. considering its my daily driver. thanks

cant use heims with bag on bar, there isnt any lateral stiffness and it will just flop over to the side with least resistance. Have to use bushings. Even with bushings you have to be sure and put the bag perfectly centered on the bar so it doesnt twist and ruin the bushing.

my fbi 4 link was crap
biggest waste of money ever
the apc intake i had when i first got my truck was a better investment than ANYTHING i ever got from fbi
Same size bars and heims as most other kits on the market... CNC tapped, black powdercoated, grade 8 hardware...
RussD is completely correct about bags on the bars, though- heims won't hold the bar steady.
On top of that, the bars in our kits aren't designed for a load. There are kits out there that are made with larger bars to take the weight of your truck- most also have at least one fixed (non-adjustable) end to keep the bar locked in position so it won't twist on you with a bag on it.
