Okay, so I am gonna start using my Crew to tow. Wondering what opinions anyone has on hitches. The question is hidden hitch, or a regular hitch. Are there pros and cons, or does it matter.
hidden hitch is the same as a regualar hitch, just behind the roll pan. just make sure you using a class III or IV hitch. also invest in trailerbrake controller and put brakes on your trailer if it doesnt have them.
another thing to look at is a "trailer Sway kit" I have one on mine and it makes a big difference...
Pindle hitches are pretty fawking kickass.
i have mine behind my glass rollpan on my dually & my only complaint is having to lay down & pin the reciever. it's kind of a pain, especially since it rains so damn much in WA the ground's ALWAYS wet, but it's not THAT bad & i think it's worth the look.
Get a Diesel. Brake controller, trailer brakes, no sway bar needed if you load your vehicle right (1/3 the weight should be on the front of the trailer), heavy duty straps, and tow mirrors.
